Halo features for your call center

Halo features cover the whole call center, from the agent's browser softphone to the supervisor's wallboard and the admin's voice menus. Everything runs on a server for your company alone and is installed and supported by Skynet VISP in Addis Ababa.

Call center PBX and IVR in one system

Halo is both the phone system and the call center tools. Asterisk is the call engine, and Halo adds its own management, monitoring and reporting on top.

That means one system for voice menus, queues, callbacks, recording, the live wallboard and reports. Admins build voice menus with play, menu, time check, queue, transfer and voicemail steps. Queues announce each caller’s position and can offer a callback. Missed calls become callback tasks. Agent calls are recorded by default. Supervisors watch the wallboard, and reports export to Excel or CSV with your logo.

What Halo does not do in v1

These are not part of Halo v1:

  • a campaign or predictive dialer;
  • answering-machine detection;
  • key presses or dynamic content in automatic calls;
  • calling from inside your mobile apps;
  • WhatsApp or chat;
  • CRM integration;
  • AI features;
  • a mobile app;
  • supervisor teams;
  • voicemail to email;
  • alerts by SMS or email (alerts go to Telegram);
  • more than one SIP trunk;
  • app screens in languages other than English.

Your voice menus can still speak Amharic, because the prompts are your own recordings.
